About this mod

This mod is meant to rebalance the game and make the upgrades a better experience. You will start with the modded map named "Stardew Moon Farm", having a limited amount of soil available, that's upgradable through the upgrades of your tools. All the price have been balanced in order to create a more satisfying and progressive gameplay experience.

ABOUT THE MAP

This mod is built around the idea of not letting player make a huge amount of money from the very beginning. This is done in part with the balance of the prices, and in a bigger part with the map layout. Now you will have a limited amount of soil available. Some of it will be blocked by rocks, woods, or meteorites, which are breakable after you upgrade your tools. This stops you from buying 200 or more seeds from the beginning and start doing too much money.  But as you progress you will be allowed to have more soil, and therefore progressively more money.

GRASS WILL NOT GROW ON GRASS TILES. So you will have to buy the hay from Marnie at 20g.
ALSO WOODS, STONES, TREES and so on WILL NOT RESPAWN on grass tiles during the change of seasons.



GENERAL CHANGELOG

All cooking recipes balanced in order to be slightly profitable.

All animal product balanced.

All crops balanced. The ones where the seed costs less are always worth less money than the ones that costs more. The ones available from year 2 or the oasis are always better than the ones you can acquire since year1 (Except strawberry, the best for spring)

Rebalanced Trees. Now they bear fruits 3 months out of 4. Some goes from spring to fall, some goes from summer to winter. They bacame a useful source of money.

Mining and Fishing balanced.

Needed ores for 1 bar is increased to 10 instead of 5. But from year 2 buying ores from the Blacksmith is gonna be very cheap. In order to make them harder to get first, but easier to get later. (From year 2 : Copper 15g - Iron 30g - Gold 45g - Coal 30g)

Increased price and bar cost for upgrading tools. This makes it harder to have everything gold by the end of summer.

Better forage item prices.



THINGS TO KNOW

Honey is worth 60 gold, Maed 120, and the best flower honey (Fairy) 135.

Mushroom are worth between 30 and 70 gold. Except Magma Cap, which is worth 100

Gold Clock now costs just 1 Million. Return scepter costs 500.000.

Diamonds are worth 600 gold and takes 7 days in crystalarium.

Required Slimes and DustSpirits to slay lowered from 1000 to 500, and from 750 to 350.

Dinosaur eggs will not be worth 3 times more with the Treasure Appraisal Guide book anymore.



HOW TO INSTALL THE MOD

Just unzip the file and copy the folder (Stardew Valley 2.0 Balancing Mod) Into the mods folder.
